This is wired internet, I don’t think there’s a monthly cap. I am planning to avail because uuwi ako from abroad and I want a fast internet, our current internet sa house mabagal. Will this always be the amount reflected on the bill?
🙁 The best way to get answers to specific questions like yours is to call them at 172. Hi Kim, I was thinking of getting a PLDT dsl subscription. Hoping to see your review on the connection as well as how fast they were able to get your connection up. I don’t think they offer plans in 1mbps anymore. Yes, it might take that long for installation–although ours was installed within a week. I guess it depends on the availability of their technicians.

I am not a representative of PLDT; I just wrote about my application experience. It’s best to call them directly so they can address your concern. As long as there is a line available in your area, they can install a connection for you. Please call 172 to check if it’s available in your area.
It’s best that you contact PLDT or visit a branch for more information. Monthly Volume Allowance I understand that I will be given a monthly data volume allowance for my HOME Ultera plan. Once I consume my data volume allowance for the month, I will ONLY be able to enjoy access to the internet if I purchase Volume Boosters. Yun lang I don’t think they have an option for online bank payment.
Unli Fibr Plan
We had a rough patch with them before but it’s all okay now. Problem na lang namin is delayed bill every month. Reading thru some comments here and you replies. Hi Jerald, it’s been pretty consistent ever since we had it installed. There were times when internet was down , but PLDT is able to act on the issue as soon as they were able to. I attached it through the application form.
It’s best to talk to them directly through 172 or visit a branch so they can explain this to you further. Hi, mag-aavail kami sa PLDT ng dsl 1299, nag-uupgrade ba sila automatically o kami yung magdedecide nun? Sorry this is my first time to get an internet connection from PLDT and I have no idea how this work. Thanks for the answer in advance. Do u know if it would work to take calls on..
Fees and Charges
I think it depends on the availability of lines in your area. Ang alam ko kasi kung congested sa area mo, then you’ll have to wait for a slot. I also have a proof of income which I can give them, but when I called them up they said I don’t need it, but I’m just worried that they might not approve because I’m just renting.
We waited & followed up for almost 5 months, but nothing happened as a result. Fed up, we went & applied for the same Home DSL 1299 plan in their Smart/PLDT branch in SM Megamall without the promo. Lo and behold, we got our home internet after 2 weeks. I applied last 2 weeks approved and installed without any initial payment required. I recently applied for a new line for my office via a PLDT branch, it didn’t take long at all so yung matagal mag-apply sa office nila, that’s not true. It’s actually faster than online application.
If I remember correctly, I think the connection was installed after a week. If not a week, the most was two weeks. I can’t remember clearly since this was two years ago.
Customers who will migrate to Home Fiber will also enjoy free installation and modem fees. I just want to ask why do i always error on applying internet plan? Service Quality To achieve connection and service, I must not remove my HOME Ultera device from where it was originally installed by the HOME technician.
I was told via automated SMS to wait for their call for validation, but to no avail. I also tried contacting them thru email but they kept on telling me to wait for their call. And oh, I applied 16th of December 2015. I tried applying online, but they didnt ask me for any requirements. Can you shed some light for me to push with our application? I just really want our application to push through, i didn’t hear from PLDT after applying online.
For some reason, my 3G connection always decides to act up on extremely busy times like the end of the month when I need to create reports from data I can only get online. Why didn’t I just apply for a more stable DSL connection? Because I thought I won’t be approved since I’m a freelancer. Plus, I felt like applying for a connection would be a huge hassle because of the lines. May I ask how is the consistency of the 3mbps DSL plan? Is it really around 3mbps or do you often experience really slow connections?
